Teens

Teens, we have programs just for you. Teen programs range from Murder Mysteries, Open Mic Nights, Henna and a Teen Play. We host programs on and off-site for Teens, so make sure to check for upcoming programs or register on our program calendar. Teen programs are in light purple (while teen programs are in light purple, some programs may be mixed ages (9-13, 10-15, etc.), so always check the ages for programs you might be interested in). Feel free to call Miss Jenn at 845-878-6121 x13 for more information on teen programming.

Do you love to read and want to participate in friendly “battles” against other libraries, answering questions about books? Sign up to be on the Patterson Library Battle of the Books team. Click on the Battle of the Books icon for more information.

Need volunteer hours? We have plenty to offer those who need hours for community service, college applications, honor roll projects, and more. In the past, teens have run their own classes, such as paint nights, ASL, and book clubs for kids. Access our Youth Volunteer Application here, and email it to ysc@pattersonlibrary.org or drop it off at the Circulation Desk.

Just looking for a job? If you’re 14 or older, you can apply to be a library page. Check out what a library page does in the job description, complete the employment application, and email it to ysc@pattersonlibrary.org or drop it off at the Circulation Desk.
