*Updated March 24* Hi Patterson residents! I want to let you know that although we are physically closed, we are still open through our website and social media, and are actively looking for ways to serve you. In this time of uncertainty and isolation from our everyday lives that in the past we may have taken for granted, we want you to feel confident that your library will continue to search for new and creative ways to help you through these trying and stressful times. The Patterson Library staff and board are letting our imaginations loose on this challenge and will find new ways to make these days ahead a little less difficult for all of us. Thanks and stay well!
Don Ferraro

Board President

In response to Putnam County’s State of Emergency declaration, the Patterson Library will be closed from March 16 until further notice, and all library programming has been postponed through April 30. We hope that this temporary closure will help to slow the spread of COVID-19 and keep our patrons and employees safe and healthy. We will keep the community updated on the status of library operations via our website and social media. Please keep the materials you currently have checked out in your possession until we reopen—your library account will not be charged any fees for unreturned materials during this time.

If you have a reference or library-related technology question, email director@pattersonlibrary.org and someone will get back to you. You can also access our list of staff here to contact an individual staff member directly.

In the meantime, the Patterson Library has a great collection of ebooks, audiobooks, videos, magazines, and databases that our patrons can access online even when the library is closed. Visit our e-library page here to make use of all of these great resources.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Harrison
Library Director
