Stephanie Harrison Named Director

Director Stephanie Harrison

The Board of Trustees and Staff of the Patterson Library are pleased to announce that Stephanie Harrison has joined our team as Director, replacing Patti Haar who retired this fall. She comes to us from the Millbrook Library, where she served as Director for the last four years. Her previous positions include serving as the Public Computer Center Director for the Poughkeepsie Public Library District and Prospect Researcher for the Marist College Development Office. Originally from Illinois, Stephanie lives with her husband and two children in Hopewell Junction. We welcome Stephanie and invite you to stop by and say hello.

Libraries recognize the need to provide a safe environment for kids to browse library materials. Just as the children’s section of the physical library has its own place, the same experience is now available in the digital collection for kids eBooks and audiobooks. Browsing can be done by subject, reading level or interest level. Check out the Kid’s eReading Room.
