Borrowing Information
We have one Toniebox and 13 Tonies for patrons to choose from! The Toniebox lends separately from the individual Tonies. The Toniebox and Tonies lend for a 2-week period and cannot be renewed.

The Toniebox includes:

  • Grey Toniebox
  • Carrying case
  • Charging wire and brick
  • Instructions
  • Don’t forget to pick out a couple of Tonies to take home with the box!

Tonie FAQ

What is a Toniebox/Tonies?

A Toniebox is an audio player that is durable, portable, and screen free. It uses figurines called Tonies to play music or stories for children. The box is simple to use and most children can switch between their favorite Tonies without assistance. Tonies are for a wide audience — from babies up to middle school!

Who can borrow the Toniebox/Tonies?

Any person who is  a Mid-Hudson Library Card holder in good-standing.

How many Tonies can I borrow?

Families can borrow 2 Tonie figurines at a time, regardless if they are borrowing the Toniebox or not.

Can I reserve the Toniebox/Tonies?

Not at this time. The Toniebox and the Tonies are loaned on a first come, first serve basis and cannot be reserved or placed on hold.

Is there a charge to borrow?

There is no charge to borrow the Toniebox or Tonies.

Can I renew the Toniebox or Tonies?

No.
